Singapore households have received several government payouts, vouchers and rebates in 2026 to help manage rising living costs. While some major cash payments have already been paid, several benefits are still available in October 2026.
Here’s a look at the key government support schemes you may still be able to use, their amounts and important deadlines.
Mortgage Rates Are Lower in 2026
CDC Vouchers: $300 Expires in December
Eligible Singaporean households received $300 in CDC Vouchers in January 2026. The amount was split into $150 for participating supermarkets and $150 for heartland merchants.
There is an important deadline to remember: the January 2026 CDC Vouchers expire on December 31, 2026. Any unused balance does not roll over, so eligible households should use the remaining amount before the end of the year.
A separate $500 CDC Voucher tranche was issued in June 2026, with $250 allocated for supermarkets and $250 for heartland merchants. These vouchers have a longer validity period and can be used until December 31, 2027.
U-Save Rebates: Up to $190 Per Quarter
Eligible HDB households continue to receive U-Save rebates of between $110 and $190 per quarter, depending on their flat type.
The October 2026 rebate is credited automatically to the household’s SP Group utilities account. This means residents do not receive the amount as cash. Instead, the rebate directly reduces their utilities bills.
Another U-Save rebate is scheduled for January 2027 under the currently confirmed schedule.
$400 Climate Vouchers
Households can also benefit from $400 in Climate Vouchers, which can be used to purchase eligible energy- and water-efficient appliances from participating retailers.
The vouchers are not exchangeable for cash. However, there is still plenty of time to use them, as the current validity period runs until December 31, 2027.
LifeSG Credits of $500 Per Child
Eligible families may receive $500 in LifeSG credits for each qualifying child.
The 2026 benefit applies to Singapore Citizen children who were 12 years old or younger as of June 1, 2026. The credits were issued from July 14, 2026, and generally remain available for around 12 months from disbursement.
Parents should check their LifeSG account to confirm their available credits and usage period.
Enhanced ComCare Support
People and families facing financial difficulties may also qualify for enhanced ComCare support.
Under the enhanced arrangement, eligible applicants can receive Interim Assistance of at least $250 per month for up to three months. The eligibility criteria have also been made more flexible during the support period.
Applications are open until December 31, 2026. People can apply through SupportGoWhere or visit a Community Club or Community Centre for assistance.
Major Cash Payments Already Paid
Some of the biggest government payments for 2026 have already been distributed.
The GST Voucher Cash was paid in August. Eligible Singapore Citizens aged 21 and above could receive up to $850, depending on factors including income and property ownership. Eligible seniors also received a separate MediSave top-up.
The Cost-of-Living Special Payment was distributed in September. Eligible Singapore Citizens could receive between $400 and $600 in cash, depending on their circumstances.
If someone believes they were eligible but did not receive a payment, they should check their relevant government payment information and eligibility status.
What’s Coming in January 2027?
More support is expected in January 2027. An additional $300 in CDC Vouchers per household was announced in July 2026, although detailed validity information was still to be confirmed.
January 2027 is also the last currently confirmed enhanced U-Save quarter under the schedule mentioned above.
